Josh's Birthday

I got a great idea from a friend of mine, to have a

Root Beer Tasting Contest

as a birthday present for Josh.

The man is ridiculously hard to shop for!!!

So I thought this would not only be FUN, which is was,

but educational. It's not something that you would do your self

but you may wonder about it.

Here we go

12 different types of Root Beer

(4 different stores including a local hardware store

that had the ones that I have never heard of)

I baked some fresh bread as a pallet cleanser ;)

Jacob was SO excited!

Results:

and out of all 12 samples it was still his favorite, I can't believe it

There ya go. It was really fun to do! 

What surprised both of us was how different they all tasted!

Even though they are all Root Beer.

I did get some vanilla ice cream so we could have floats

after words, but we didn't feel so good after having

that much pop, but if you do it yourself you should try that.

Here's his little cake I made him. 

His request: funfeti cake mix and rainbow chip frosting. 

The guys likes store bought over homemade.

Whatever, his birthday.

I tried to dress it up by putting a pudding frosting in

the center =)

If you think my idea was LAME, before you think that

his birthday was a big let down,
